SDMC (Software Database Management Center) is a comprehensive business department software solution for the Siemens AG. The objective at the Siemens AG is a centralization and standardization of the domain and server structure as well as of the client architecture for all personal computers which proceed on the basis of Microsoft´s Windows operating system.

SDMC consists of central services for the administration of the domain structure and the client implementation as well as the supply and distribution of software packets. Furthermore it contains a comfortable change request, service request and bug report -management.

A central component of SDMC is a MS-SQL/Server-Database as database and source of information for all data which are relevant for the software logistics.

To accomplish the special demands of this global structure, SDMC is a transitional web based solution. This includes the registrations as well as the processing of all relevant information.
